Corrective Measures Investigation, Perth
Amboy, NJ, Chief Project Controls Engineer. Currently serving in
this roles for a $65M CR contract consist of providing all supervision,
labor, equipment, and materials to perform Corrective Measures Implementation
remedial volume investigations and corrective measure using In Situ and Ex
Situ Stabilization, In Situ Chemical Oxidation, Electrical Resistance
Heating, Enhanced In Situ Bioremediation, In Situ Chemical Fixation, Arsenic
Cap, Corrective Action Management Unit Construction, LNAPL Recovery and
Management. Developed a schedule baseline and implemented weekly progress
status input process, Assist/review/oversight for EVMP and Project Controls
reports.

AMTRAK Positive Train Control I-ETMS System
Integrator, North East Corridor, Sr. Scheduling Consultant. Served
in this role for $60M design System Integrator (SI) services Fixed Price
Contract that consists of the wayside, communication and RF design, testing,
and commissioning an Interoperable Electronic Train Management System (I-ETMS)
based PTC system that will bring Amtrak into full compliance with the Rail
Safety Improvement Act (RSIA) of 2008 as promulgated by the Federal Railroad
Administration (FRA). Created a schedule baseline, developed schedule of
values for cost tracking purposes. Performing biweekly schedule updates and
monthly Project Controls tool status updates. Performing schedule and cost
status reviews with the Project team. Performed time impact analysis.
October 2011 – December 2012 (Client: Siemens)
PATH ATC/CBTC signal system project, Newark,
NJ, Project Controls Consultant. Served in this role for the $321
million design-build lump sum contract that
consists of installation of Automatic Train Control (ATC) utilizing
advanced Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) technology plus a back-up
conventional signaling system on the entire Port Authority Trans-Hudson
(PATH) mainline network including all central office, wayside and train borne
equipment locations. This Project includes design services and providing a
new vital-processor based interlocking system utilizing digital track
circuits to replace the existing relay based signal system and track circuits. Updated the schedule with progress
information, resource and cost on a weekly basis. Prepared and reviewed the
financial reports – Earned value, CPI and SPI calculation and identified
risks and mitigation measures. Manage and lead the team of 2 Project
Control Engineers and document controller.
June 2010 – October 2011 (Client: Parsons Brinkerhoff)
The
Second Avenue Subway - 72nd Street station Cavern Mining, NY, Project
Controls Consultant. The
$500 million project consisted of the excavation of caverns and future
station entrances. Responsible for leading all Project Controls functions.
Led the team of 2 schedulers and 1 cost engineer.
June 2008 – June 2010 (Client: Long Island Rail Road, SEPTA, NJ
Transit)
Signal and Communication Engineering Capital
Program Projects, NY, Project Controls Engineer. Handled multiple
Signal Engineering Projects and Communication Engineering Projects. The scope
of work for Signal Projects includes Interlocking renewals with
microprocessor based technology. The Scope of work for Communication Projects
includes installation of fiber cable, Radio retrofits, Communication Towers
and Communication Equipment. Prepared
project’s baseline schedule, Three month look ahead, Critical Path, summary
schedule, Resource forecast reports, Summary resource hours report,
performance analysis reports and percent complete reports. Developed WBS,
activity codes, resource codes and cost account codes and load the schedule
with required resources and cost. Reviewed Third Party Contractor schedules.
Prepared master merge of all the individual project schedules. Integrated P6
with Crystal Reports using P6 SDK.
SEPTA Fairmount Substation Project,
Philadelphia, PA, Scheduling consultant. The scope of work for this substation includes
installation of new auto-transformers outside the new substation, new
electrical components. Performed the following tasks as a Scheduler: Performed
CPM analysis of the project schedule. Incorporated approved change orders
into the schedule. Updated the schedule with progress information. Performed
critical path analysis and prepared schedule charts and reports. Created and
updated cost-loaded schedule for the project.
NJ Transit Wheel Truing Facility Project,
Hoboken, NJ, Scheduling Consultant.
Project work included the construction of new wheel truing facility,
employee’s welfare facilities and a storage area. Performed the following
tasks as a Scheduler: Reviewed the schedule update for accuracy of
progress information and/ or logic changes made and performed the critical
path analysis. Prepared monthly narrative report outlining the progress of
the project and discussion of critical areas of the project where
action/decision is needed.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECT
EXPERIENCE (2001-2007):

June 2005 – June 2007
Jumeirah Lake towers, Dubai, UAE, Planning
officer. Served in this role for $60M (214 Million UAE Dirham)
contract that consists of construction
of two towers of 3B+G+39 storeys
with over 310 Commercial Offices, duplex Offices, Coffee Shop, Food Outlets
and shops. As a Prime Contractor, L&T was
responsible for construction, co-ordination with the local authorities and
subcontractors. L&T’s scope of works include construction of the RCC
structure, block work, plastering, tiling and finishing in common areas. All
other works and services are being executed by various nominated
subcontractors under L&T’s supervision and total responsibility.
Performed the following tasks: Led the team of billing engineer, estimator
and Quantity surveyor. Preparation of Overall Schedule of Project based on
quantities from BOQ and Scheduled completion. Studied complete tender
document, drawings, specifications and scope of Work. Supervised quantity
surveyor to work out Approx. Quantities of main activities. Material / Manpower
Resource Planning in co - ordination with Project In - charge. Updating
the rolled up Bar chart to show the status of the activities / mile stones.
Keeping Track of Delays and Critical Issues. Preparation of monthly MIS.
